Welcome

Are you someone struggling with an eating disorder, body image issues, anxiety or self-esteem?

I bet it feels like no one gets it.

My name is Briana Rogers (she/her/hers), and I am a Professional Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Connecticut supervised by Lisa Shea, LCSW specializing in eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, depression and anxiety.

As a therapist who has worked with many people in the depths of an eating disorder and/or deep dissatisfaction with their body, I’ve witnessed how challenging it can be to open up about your struggles, especially if it doesn’t seem like anyone understands.

The stigma around eating disorders is debilitating which is why it is my goal to ensure a space where clients feel comfortable exploring their relationship with food and body. I am committed to a therapeutic approach that meets you where you are. Whether we’re diving into deep conversations, listening to music that hits home, creating art, or eating a snack together, every part of the process holds meaning – if it resonates with you and your needs.

My ultimate goal in working with clients is to assist them in achieving optimal wellness and, eventually, graduating out of therapy! Although I treasure the therapeutic relationships we build during our time together, I am always overjoyed when clients “graduate” out of therapy, as it means they have regained control of their lives.
