Welcome

My name is Briana Rogers (she/her/hers), and I am a Professional Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Connecticut. As a mental health therapist, I have a strong passion for helping all who are challenged with finding, or sustaining, mental wellbeing. It is an honor to be able to sit with those in their darkest moments and assist them on their path to clarity, peace and wellness. The areas in which I have extensive knowledge and specialization in include eating disorders, negative body image and body dysmorphia, self-esteem challenges, anxiety, aging, life transition challenges, caregiver fatigue, and senior counseling.

Throughout my career I have had the pleasure of working in residential settings catering to those struggling with eating disorder behaviors, body image challenges, as well as in senior living settings. My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and holistic wellness strategies.

My credentials include achieving my Master’s degree from St. Bonaventure University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and completing my clinical internship at the Wellness Group of Oxford in Connecticut. I am currently under the supervision of Lisa Ann Shea, LCSW.
